
is a contemporary artist who has been painting in New Mexico since 1953. Of French-Canadian, Indian & Irish descent, Ann grew up in Michigan, in a lumbering family. It is natural that she prefers subjects that are landscapes & wild flowers. The color, light & space of the Southwest is what she strives to communicate through her favorite mediums of watercolor and pastels. Ann has exhibited throughout the Southwest and is represented in galleries in Michigan as well as New Mexico. She attended the University of New Mexico majoring in art, is active in the National League of American Pen Women and the New Mexico Watercolor Society of which she is a signature member. Ann's paintings are part of public, private and international collections.
