I settled in Albuquerque in 1991, after 20+ years of military service. I have been working with wood all my life, but it wasn’t until I received my first lathe that I found the medium for my artistic expression. Woodturning is my passion. I can’t go very long without touching a sharp tool to a spinning piece of wood. I’ve grown a special fondness for working with segmentation. The number of individual pieces of wood can range from 100 up. The process of cutting, gluing, turning and finishing each item takes 10 to 35 hours depending on the size and number of pieces.
