Jeanette has always loved all forms of Arts and Crafts. Over the years she's taken classes in oil and watercolor painting, drawing, printing, silver jewelry and PMC (precious metal clay) jewelry. In 2004 she discovered polymer clay PC, at which time she joined the New Mexico Polymer Clay Guild (NMPCG). Jeanette was drawn to the beautiful colors of the clay as well as the flexibility of this medium. Polymer clay lends well to color mixing, and incorporating inclusions such as paint, foils, glitter, and other objects of metal, paper and glass. She has attended several polymer clay workshops with local and nationally known PC artists. She is currently serving as president of the NMPCG and a member of the Corrales Society of Artists (CSA). Her artwork can be seen at several Art’s and Crafts shows throughout New Mexico as well as Amapola Gallery.
