Born, raised and educated in New York City, Mikki moved with her three daughters to New Mexico in 1978 and immediately fell in love with the land of enchantment. In the following years, her desire for traveling and exploring led her to photography. Her specific interest in nature and the many cultures of the Southwest are a never ending source of inspiration. After traveling extensively, her passion for the Southwest and all it's natural beauty led her to the realization that photography is a real art form. Since she recently retired, she has been able to pursue her true profession, giving her the joy of sharing her art and her vision with others.
